Our goal is to ensure a smooth and worry-free experience for every customer, whether you’re purchasing live animals, fruit flies, or plants. Below, you’ll find detailed policies tailored to each product category, along with shipping recommendations and live arrival guarantees.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We stand behind the health and safety of every animal we ship. Our Live Arrival Guarantee ensures that your frogs and lizards arrive alive and healthy. Unlike other vendors, we take full responsibility for carrier delays or errors by FedEx. Here’s how we make this guarantee work:
- Delivery Responsibilities:
You must be available to receive your shipment at the agreed-upon time and address. If you cannot be available, consider arranging for pick-up at a local FedEx Office or similar facility.- Notify us within 30 minutes of delivery if there are any concerns.
- Packages delayed by weather or mishandling require immediate action on your part to retrieve the shipment as soon as it is available.
- Health and Care Post-Arrival:
Animals are guaranteed to arrive healthy. If you encounter issues within the first 3–5 days, contact us immediately for guidance. We will work with you to address potential husbandry concerns and may offer replacements at our discretion.
Fruit Flies and Plant Guarantee
We guarantee live arrival for fruit fly cultures and plants under specific conditions:
- Shipping Temperatures:
- Temperatures at both the shipping and receiving locations must range between 20°F and 82°F for fruit flies.
- Plants are not guaranteed in temperatures above 90°F or below 25°F.
- Recommendations:
- To minimize risks, have your package held for pick-up at a local FedEx Office during extreme temperatures.
- While we use heat packs during colder months, plants and flies shipped during summer heat are more susceptible to damage.
Payment and Shipping Policies
Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, money orders, and personal checks (allow two weeks for checks to clear).
Shipping Process:
- Live animals are shipped Priority Overnight via FedEx for $49, which includes packaging.
- Special packaging, such as heat packs or oversized boxes, may incur additional fees.
Weather Conditions:
We prioritize the safety of our animals by shipping under optimal weather conditions. Shipment schedules will be discussed upon order placement.
Returns and Refunds
Merchandise:
If you’re not satisfied with a product, you may return it in new condition with all accessories for a full refund. Shipping costs are refunded at our discretion.
Live Animals:
While we do not guarantee long-term survival beyond delivery, we may replace animals that fail to thrive under appropriate care. Replacement shipping fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
