Update, July 5th\.\.\.second pair sold\.\.\.look for additional listings in August\! These Rio Negro locale \leucomelas\ showed up in the US hobby a few years ago in very limited numbers\. They are about 2/3rds the size of a standard \leucomelas\, and while the base color of bright yellow is the same as standard \leucomelas\, the bands have morphed into random abbreviated marking, with no two frogs the same\. Apparently these originate around the area where the Rio Negro river crosses the border with Brazil and Venezuela, although specifics are hard to come by on these sort of things\.  Anyway, these are one of the nicer new dart frogs to arrive in the hobby for a while\. Captive care and breeding is very similar to standard \leucomelas\, and they are perhaps a little bolder than standard \leucomelas\\. - [Tokay Geckos, CB Gekko gecko](https://dartfrogsandgeckos.com/product/tokay-gecko/): Our captive bred Tokay Geckos are especially handsome, decked out with their orange spots\!  These are so much nicer than the imported Tokays it is sometimes hard to believe they are the same species\! Extremely easy to care for, these geckos will eat most any feeder insects, and don't require any special lighting\.  Of course they are famous for their belligerent personality, although it is possible to tame them, it just requires persistent handling\. I suggest starting with a younger gecko if this is your goal\!   We offer geckos sorted by size, small juveniles, which are well started hatchlings, juveniles, which are a bit larger, and large juveniles, which are typically large enough to "guess sex"\.\.\.\. I've had multiple requests for photos, and after experimenting with it a bit, I really don't think I'm going to be offering photos for each gecko\.  These geckos are very uniform in the number of red/orange spots on them\. I have posted additional photos of additional geckos, just to show how uniform they are\.\.\.the gallery of photos consists of shots of three different geckos, which were not selected for appearance, rather they were just any three I could catch\!  The background color, the silverish blue to slate grey color, changes with the geckos mood\.  They will all show a variety of shades in that spectrum\.  At "rest" they typically are a lighter color, and when stressed, such as when having their picture taken, they are darker in color\.  The red/orange spots don't really shift much in shade\. As a compromise to all of you that want to see a photo of "your" gecko, I offer the following proposal\- Purchase your gecko, and on the agreed on shipping day, I'll send you a cell phone shot of your gecko as I am packing it\.  You'll have an hour to approve or cancel your order\. \[wpcode id="1889"\] - [Prickly Geckos, Heteronotia binoei, Juveniles](https://dartfrogsandgeckos.com/product/prickly-geckos-heteronotia-binoei-juveniles/): Prickly geckos, \(also known as Bynoe's gecko\) are an Australian species that is parthenogenic, meaning they are females and can produce offspring without a male\.  All offspring will be females, which can of course also reproduce on their own\.  These little geckos are attractive and easy to care for\.  A short care summary can be found below\.  Geckos being offered are around 2 months old and are eating small 1/4 inch crickets or larger 1/8th inch\. I find they take around eight to twelve months to mature \(after you get them from us\)\.  You probably will want to start the juveniles in a smaller tank\. Currently, July of 2026, these guys are going well here\! These La Coca form \Dendrobates auratus\ are probably the most exciting new form of \auratus\ I've seen in many years\!  Amazing appearance, and a bold and outgoing nature are two of their best qualities\! These are a larger form of \auratus\, in fact one of the larger \auratus\ I've seen\.  Their color ranges from a light green to blue, with beautiful lighter colored bronze between the main colors, a trait that becomes more pronounced as they get older\. Between their large size, bold nature and beautiful appearance, these are pretty close to a perfect dart frog\! As with most any \auratus\, they will breed and do well in both groups and pairs\.  Great beginner dart frogs\!
