This Costa Rican form of D. auratus are, to me, the iconic green and black dart frogs.  Jet black, with beautiful metallic green marking that make up about 50 to 60 percent of the body, these dart frogs are bold and beautiful!   Indeed, this might be the most bold and outgoing form of D. auratus, this form of auratus approaches the tinctorius morphs in its bold and out going nature. These frogs are full grown and will likely begin breeding fairly soon after arrival!
