The Varadero locale of Ranitomeya imitator is a true all star in the thumbnail group of dart frogs. These frogs are brilliantly colored, and relatively bold and easy to keep for a thumbnail! I recommend keeping them in pairs, but in larger terrariums it is possible to keep them in groups. I’d recommend giving them some room if you want to keep a group, say at least a thirty gallon size tank.  To me the best setup is something smaller, but with only a pair in it. This eliminates many of the challenges of trying to keep a group, and makes it more easy to see your frogs!

Frogs for sale are two to three month old juveniles, well established but not sexable.
