Our captive bred Tokay Geckos are especially handsome, decked out with their orange spots!  These are so much nicer than the imported Tokays it is sometimes hard to believe they are the same species!

Extremely easy to care for, these geckos will eat most any feeder insects, and don’t require any special lighting.  Of course they are famous for their belligerent personality, although it is possible to tame them, it just requires persistent handling. I suggest starting with a younger gecko if this is your goal!   We offer geckos sorted by size, small juveniles, which are well started hatchlings, juveniles, which are a bit larger, and large juveniles, which are typically large enough to “guess sex”….

I’ve had multiple requests for photos, and after experimenting with it a bit, I really don’t think I’m going to be offering photos for each gecko.  These geckos are very uniform in the number of red/orange spots on them. I have posted additional photos of additional geckos, just to show how uniform they are…the gallery of photos consists of shots of three different geckos, which were not selected for appearance, rather they were just any three I could catch!  The background color, the silverish blue to slate grey color, changes with the geckos mood.  They will all show a variety of shades in that spectrum.  At “rest” they typically are a lighter color, and when stressed, such as when having their picture taken, they are darker in color.  The red/orange spots don’t really shift much in shade. As a compromise to all of you that want to see a photo of “your” gecko, I offer the following proposal- Purchase your gecko, and on the agreed on shipping day, I’ll send you a cell phone shot of your gecko as I am packing it.  You’ll have an hour to approve or cancel your order.
