This is where the magic happens! This is our high output Fruit Fly media, one of, if not the best, in the market.  It works perfectly for all types of fruit flies, Drosophila melanogaster variants and Drosophila hydei.  We’ve been using and selling this media for 15 years or so, and I’ve been told by many customers that it is the best they have tried.  And it is super simple to use, the recipe can vary if you like, but my preferred recipe is to mix one half cup of dechlorinated water (room temp, no boiling!) into a third cup of media.  Swirl to avoid any dry spots and add flies. Throw in a ball of Excelsior wood shavings if you like, and ….Boom…you are done!  You can also use an 80/20 water vinegar mix if you like, see the instruction sheet for more info on this-
